The trackball on my blackberry pearl keeps typing QEQEQEQEQE
by dwalk51 - 10/6/07 2:05 PMI just recently got it from my dad, and whenever I roll the trackball to the left it types in QEQEQEQEQEQEQEQ repeatedly.
And i'm not typing it mind you, it just does it of it's own accord.
Are there little magnets in there messing it up making it think that I'm typing stuff or whats the problem? All help is very much appreciated.

But the fastest way to get answers to your problem is to post the question on www.crackberry.com. They have forums for just about any issues with any model BlackBerry, and usually someone will answer your questions in less than a day!
Be sure to register yourself on the site, and then post your question at the right area (i.e. BlackBerry Pearl, if that's your phone).

It's a problem with the OS

The blackberry OS has so many quirks. I think the thing to do in this situation is to back up your files to your computer, deleting the OS (it might be called firmware) and then reloading a new copy of it.

First I think I am going to take it all apart, and then see if there is a small piece of wood or something else stuck in there, but then I think I'll try your idea.
