The funeral durge has begin for Vonage
Pity. They did a lot to move this segment forward -- but this should not give the whole segment a black eye. VoIP is a great alternative if you want to avoid: expensive big telco, cable companies with terrible service and alternative local providers who can not provision customers in less than (uh -- let me be generous) 4 weeks. There are great VoIP companies out there. Some have been at it for a long time (aka Net2Phone) others are new at it but interestesing (Packet 8). I myself am looking for another provider -- I am not sure what I will pick -- but I intend to stay with VoIP, I do alot of interational calling and nothing beats VoIP in costs.
