charles eason, Check with Adobe. I am sure there is something coming up to the S.F. area. All the tutorials are free on the Adobe website.
I loved San Fran when I visited three years ago
Monterey Bay area and the Big Sur…
Great photo opportunities there, also.
What a wild roadway that Big Sur area is. There was a driver in a vehicle in front of us and he went off the road on the last turn, just before the bridge. Must have been looking at the bridge and scenery instead of the roadway.
He was lucky. Only slid down fifty feet out and twenty five feet down, and was not injured I think. He will have to change his shorts!
Any good photos of the S.F.area to send us?
-Kevin
Here is a photo of the Big Sur that my son took. My photo was not as good as this one. My son has a steadier hand.

and I should do some research on this, but I'll tell you anyhow.
Someone said that if you live in California, for a year, they pay for you to go to college there. I don't know how true it is or the details. Maybe you could check with a college near you and see what they say, then ask about courses available.
Rick
Sorry folks but I live in the Boston, MA area. So California opportunities are a little difficult to take advantage of.
Thanks anyway
sipos, PudgyOne's post was meant for charles eason, who lives in CA.
You have FREE access to any MA State university by being over 65 years old here in MA.
I am sure other States offer FREE education for anyone over 65 years old also.
Apply and see what's available.
sipos, You can sign up for UMASS Boston and have your choice of courses to take days, nights or weekends.
Check it out. That's why it is there for you and I.
PudgyOne, What's available in PA?
Thanks for responding.
-Kevin
Thanks I will do so
sipos,
Goes for me also next year when the time is right.
I will sign up with UMASS Boston.
That's about a half hour away from my home on a commute.
Maybe the instrucor will welcome a seasoned professional into his class that wants to learn MORE from them. (Photoshop)
Everyone can learn more. The learning curve never stops.
Fabulous courses offered. Just go to umass.
Like I have said before: Days, nights or weekends.
There is probably a course on digital photography!
I will have to check it out for sure! That would be fabulous!!
Can you imagine the field trips around Boston and the harbors!?
how exciting!
Maybe a second course tied in with Photoshop and to tie it in.
Good luck sipos. Post back often, because this is just the beginning of this new forum. More excitement to come from CNET.
-Kevin
