In episode 61 you guys tried to say that Crocs were only worn by Americans....sadly - thats not true. I am in Vienna, Austria studying for this school year and have seen an amazing amount of Crocs being worn (there is actually a Croc store not very far away from me). There is always a table at the biggest market (its not totally a farmer's market but almost) in Vienna, the Naschmarkt, with at least 30 pairs of Croc knock-offs.
So sadly, in this city full of culture, Crocs still prevail.

Oh, and Austria in German is Österreich ![]()
I think I've seen one person wearing them here. And there is no shortage of product in the stores. Another danger sign is the product racks are no longer at the front of the store.
Fad?
Bob
I hope its a fad - unless its one that is moving to europe. even the, what looks to be owner, of the cafe i frequent (which is this little neighborhood cafe, especially compared to most of the cafe's around it) wears lime green crocs. its so odd.
A lady of a certain age, dressed distressed boho style.
Plastic shoes on her feet. Ridiculous contraptions.
I could also see her ravaged toes, peek-a-boo style. It was like a horror movie - I wanted to turn away, but my eyes kept being drawn.
The ones they made for boating or sailing.
In the last month the Croc's racks have moved from the front of the stores to just in the mismosh of stuff the store has all over. If you hold stock I'd be planning an exit.
