I own an iPod video, which was a gift and still want the Vision M. I've owned several Creative Labs players and everyone has been problem free, including my Zen V plus. I'vwe had numerous problems with my iPod.
Stick with Creative.

Creative has actually stopped production I believe, to focus on it's new Zen
If you're looking to do mainly music, it's still a nice player if you can get a good deal
but if you like iPods, the new iPod Classic should fit the bill
but if you're looking for Video playback you need to look at more dedicated PVPs like the 605 Wifi
