Apple has 90% Ipod satisfaction rate, though many have more than one.
Molly, That's a lot of people to call succers.
Why I think some Ipod consumer take offence over Molly's rants.
Ipods are a blockbuster hit movies like "The Fellowship of the Ring and the Two Towers"
Peter Jackson just announces his next movie "The Return of the King"
Molly, a movie critic is covering this annoucement & all She does is rant about how the last movies (Ipod) were bad and how anyone who liked the movies are succers.
I think Ipods are great & I like to here more "Tech News" about the new Ipods.
Ipod are esay to use, well designed, and are the best value as a music player.
I want the infomation about the new Ipods. I might want to buy the new Ipod touch.
Molly if you don't like the Ipod that's ok, and you can even rant about that, just don't infer that consumers of the Ipod are succers for Apple Products. I think that's where you get your biggest backlash.

Look, millions and millions of people have bought the music cds by Britney and gaggle of prefab pop bimbos and generic boybands, what does that prove? That people have no taste or that you can mass market crap?

I think its actually the inner fanboi that feels he has to constantly justify his purchase. As a group, Mac users are very touchy, bristle at any criticism and can see no fault but that is something we all know. This level of fanaticism is exactly the same now as when they were spouting the genius of OS 9 and the Motorola chips (and before someone gets their panties all in a bunch, I am not comparing current and past products mainly the level of fanaticism that is the same for both the good and the crappy products. That Mac fans cannot tell them apart when it comes from Apple is my point.)
Personally, Im happy for people who find inner peace with their choices of toys because its truly a momentous time in one's life when appliance purchase brings you so much closer to consumer bliss.
For those of us who dont live by the law of the Ori.. I mean ipod (All hail the ipod!), your devotion makes us smile.
