The Best Ever Keyboard for XP?
by Jotts - 9/9/07 7:07 AMHey I am looking to buy a keyboard for many months(YES,months) now and I want to buy one that feels really good, the best on typing. I don't care for shortcuts or buttons or programmable buttons, just typing but really really comfortable.
Any suggestions?

A logitech lx710. It took a little getting used to the move of the home and end keys but the feel is good for me.

The positive key feel and sculptured key layout, make this keyboard a joy to use for hours at a time.
When all of our PC/XT machines became obsolete years ago, I collected several of their keyboards, which I still use on each new computer, now connected via an inexpensive USB-to-PS2 dongle. I have one going strong on a Vista machine.
The buckling-spring technology that makes those keyboards so great, passed to Lexmark when IBM spun it off, and now Lexmark has sold the rights to the technology to Unicomp Inc.
