What is needed is a 3rd person to help move things along and settle or stop unnecessarily long discussions.
Also from what little we have heard from Jason, i think he is a calm cool dude. Versus veronica the hot cute chick.

I do think the answer is to have a new fixed third presenter, maybe Jason but possibly someone else. With three people, there is more likelihood that the third person will moderate things when the other two are getting all heated up. Or else it becomes two against one and the argument dies down quicker as the "one" realises the odds are stacked against him or her.
Please get your act together, people - when you're at the top of your game then the show is fantastic, but you're far, far from that right now. You need that third person to offer more balance and perspective. And you need to re-learn the art of public debate and discussion without getting all emotional and ugly.
