try this site http://www.blackviper.com/ for your tweaks
opera has a built in mail client, it take a little while to get used to but it is pretty good.
Stopping apps from opening w/Windows will only increase boot time to Windows
and reduce memory usage.
I won't get into the virtual memory settings, too many answers both pro and con.
I allow Windows to manage the virtual memory.
If your post is asking "How to open OE/IE faster?"
Then their is not much you can do.
The specs for your system from HP's web site indicate this is a very fast system.
Hopefully this helps ....

But when I was in the chat they asked if I would like to speed up IE. I told them it really wasn't a problem, because the only time it is slow is when I come from OE. So they gave me these steps to help speed up the PC. I knew that some of it was something I should do, but wanted to make sure I was equipped with the right info before trying anything.
I think my computer has 2.8ghz, I think it is Intel Pentium D. I wanted something fast, so I went with the best they offered at the time.
Thanks for the info!!!!
