Is/was there a BOL for kids?

Then I thought - is there anything like TWIT or BOL for kids? Has there been anything in the past? Interested to see if anyone knows of anything.

Most tech news podcasts are pretty accessible to children as long as they aren't too geeky or specific like This Week in Media or MacBreak Tech.

I like the idea that kids can produce and give feedback on their own podcast and then move to BOL when they grow out of it. ya know? maybe a 5-10minute segment a couple times a week...

It was aimed at teenagers so might be a little older that what you had in mind, and I don't know if it ever got off the ground, but it's the closest thing I can think of off hand to what you're looking for.
