The New CNET is choppy, slow, horrible

Give me back the previous version that was flawless

My Sony Vaio desktop is fairly new, lots of ram, normally runs videos fast

But The New CNET is choppy, slow, horrible

Very disappointed

technical problems on Firefox2.0 / FedoraCore6

by VicRicVANBC - 9/1/07 9:02 AM In reply to: The New CNET is choppy, slow, horrible by realtymac

Hi, while attempting to watch a CNET Video Review on my FedoraCore6 machine w/ Firefox 2.0 I get to the point of watching only the intro advertisement but then when the real review is supposed to start the feed just stops and keeps me waiting seemingly forever.

Here's a link to take as an example:

http://reviews.cnet.com/Buzz_Report_Thanks_for_nothing_Microsoft/4660-10620_7-6768990.html?tag=feed&part=rss&subj=video

Now, I have checked on my Windows XP machine w/ Firefox 2.0 to see if the problem is also there but it isn't - on Windows XP the review follows immediately right after the ad, although I have to say, the video looks very 'choppy', not as it looked before.

Is there a specific minimum version of Flash that has to be installed for Firefox to show the reviews properly on my FedoraCore6 machine?

I'm having problems too

I thought it was because I use Safari 3, but apparently not. I don't even try to watch a video until it fully loads because of how much the audio skips- and it still isn't that smooth. Can't we have the black/green/yellow CNET TV back? :D
