Imagine spending $300 on a machine to read Ebooks. Imagine that the machine is now useless. That's what's happening to thousands of people who rely on Mobipocket (owned by Amazon) to read e-books. The DRM protocol has been down for days, with no estimate as to when it will return. Who knows how much online e-book sellers are hurting, since they can't sell any books with Mobipocket DRM protection.
