Our own cars mostly. I don't think we get mileage. But I should check. There is a CNET Van if a whole crew is going from here in SF.
We do get mileage reimbursements ...

People get *killed* outside! Nevermind interaction with people...
Besides, Tom, couldn't you just find a stream or live blog and pretend you were there? There were all kinds of tube-clogging coverage of that Apple event. Molly could've taped herself pretending to be standing next to a new iMac, and just have inserted a picture of one in the background.
Ah, the future of news coverage.
