hello people,
I was doing a little research on various HD Entertainment Centers because I really like the idea of all-in-one setup and sync with a computer over home network.
does anyone come across of any great systems? I am talking about something like Alienware Hangar18 or Velocity CineMagix Grand Theater Entertainment System.
latest technologies would be nice. something that I am really looking for is DVR feature, 1080p, Blu-Ray (possibly), HDMI (1.3 maybe), wireless connection to a router, speaker connections for 5.1 system (speakers and a sub).
please share any experiences and opinions. I'd really appreciate it.
thanks in advance,
anyone?! please throw some opinions at me, I'm really curious about those things.
thanks in advance again,
First I dont like the idea of interfacing computor with home theater system to many problems and very complex. Also most folks agree that h.t.i.b. systems suck . Its best to do a little homework and use seperate componets A sweet d.v.d. player and hi-def cable or satellite should give you tons of hi-def joy steweee
I've got my TV conected to my TV via DVI connection. I'm very disappointed with the picture quality I'm getting. At one time, I invisioned being able to down load movies from the net and being able to skip Blockbuster. I'ts a new computer with a bettr than average graphics card.

I just have a decent dell laptop and it is hooked to my 42" LCD via standard monitor cable and the picture on the TV is better than on my laptop.
