Whenever I try and either log into eBay or view an auction item page, I get either a "Http/1.1 Internal Server Error" or "Http/1.1 Bad Request" message. I thought of e-mailing eBay about it, but whenever I try and go to the help page I get one of those errors.
I also am having difficulty logging into discovercard.com, I can get to the main page, but I can't log in, I enter my info but then it just sits and then eventually times out.
(I've tried to do both of these things in IE7 also, same results)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
It's free now.
Scan for viruses, spyware, etc.
Or go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Security > click on Default Level > Apply > OK. Restart the computer.
Hope this is helpful.

For IE,Your Internet Explorer does not support HTTP 1.1?

firefox is very good
you can get net firefox3.0
I have got it now. But as with the RC versions they dont work on my Vista machine. It just says "Firefox is not working". Anyone know why?
Firefox 3 works fine though in my other 2 pcs.
Somewhere I read this should be done... also consider removing any left over Firefox folders from previous versions.
I have Firefox 3 downloaded but not yet installed... waiting to see experience that others have. It should work with Vista... see no reason it would not.
Hope this helps.

The download went well. Pages load smoothly. All of my settings, bookmarks and toolbar links are there. Only thing I ran into were several add-ons that weren't ready for the FF 3 version. I still have BBcodeXtra and DictionarySearch, and Keyscrambler.
So far, I haven't run into any serious issues. One thing I've noticed is that the pages are designed for a smaller resolution or maybe a larger monitor. I don't know yet if there's a way to make things a bit bigger and stay that way -- not that I have trouble reading it, I just prefer everything to be a bit larger.
As I write this reply, I can see the part that says. "Note: If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended." doesn't wrap when I make things larger, and I would have to use the bottom scroll bar in order to read it all.
Curious if you installed Firefox 3 over the previous version according to their release notes?
Plans are to install the new version today. Hope you find a way to solve the monitor resolution that meets your satisfaction.

I downloaded 3 it over the previous version. I was curious what would happen if I did it the other way.
wierd
you cannot post, or you cannot sign in?
I had similar problems with FF3 in these forums. I kept signing in but it wouldn't remember by sign in.
In the end I cleared out all CNET Cookies, and restarted signing in from scratch. That seems to have worked. I also had to select the "Accept third party cookies". I am now de-selecting that to see if I can still automatically login OK.

saying I had three addons that had updates. One of them was an addon called NoSquint, which I had forgotten about. That's why the screen looked different, not because it was FF3.
