Four here

I have two HP Vectra 420's that have been "hot rodded" with the fastest cpu available, maxed out on memory, and large drives, a high-end machine I built for audio/video editing, and my trusty HP laptop. I generally use just one at a time, but have been known to have all 4 up at once.

I'll start at the bottom in order from slowest to fastest

386 Packard Bell complete system with oversized keyboard lol with 4mb of ram and I think a 30mb hdd lol

Compaq CDS 524 All in one PC with a blazing fast 486sx haha. It has 16mb of ram and a 1.7gb hdd

Compaq Presario 4112 with a 120mhz Pentium with 16mb of ram and a 1.6gb hdd

Compaq Deskpro EN with a 400mhz Pentium 2 with 384mb of ram and a 60gb hdd

A custom built tower with a AMD Duron 1ghz and 512mb of sdram. There's no hard drive in it at the moment though.

Custom built PC with a socket 754 Athlon 64 3000+, 1.5gb DDR400 ram, 30gb hd, ATI Radeon 128mb 9550 card.

And my everyday computer. A custom built AMD Athlon 64X2 4200+ with 2gb of DDR2667 ram, 2 hhd's (1 80gb and 250gb SATA), and a ATI x1300 256mb agp card.

by Geeky1 - 7/27/07 8:13 PM In reply to: Poll: How many functional computers do you have at home? by Lee Koo (ADMIN) Moderator

Desktops/servers:
-C2D E6600 / 2GB RAM / 6800GT (self built)
-2x 1.4GHz PIII-S / 512MB RAM / R9000 (self built)
-AXP 2600m @ 2.5GHz / 1GB RAM / GeForce 4MX420 Go prototype/engineering sample (built on a GeForce 4 Ti PCB, has 64mb of RAM) (self built)
-2x 533 G4 / 1.5GB RAM / Flashed PC R9600 Pro (self built- modded into a PC case, runs an ATX PS + 24v PS; all hardware except the logic board and CPU card is PC based and has been modified as necessary to work in a Mac)
-4x P2 Xeon 450GHz / 4GB RAM (32x 128mb ECC EDO) / FX5200 PCI (AMI Goliath)
-P3 (800MHz) / 256MB RAM / Matrox G200 (HP Visualize workstation)
-Celeron 466 / 256MB RAM / ATi integrated somethingorother (eMachines mobo, no longer in an eMachines case; runs Smoothwall)
-G3 350MHz / 128MB RAM / ATi Rage 128 (Blue & White G3)
-G3 266MHz / 256MB RAM / ATi Rage Pro (G3 All-in-One)

Laptops:
-P4 3.4E / 1GB RAM / Radeon 9800m (Inspiron XPS Gen. 1)
-G3 266MHz / 128MB RAM / ATi Rage LT Pro (Powerbook G3 "PDQ")
-8088 4.77MHz / 128k RAM / Black & Green CRT (Compaq portable; don't laugh, it's a computer and it still works)

Those are just the ones that work... not the ones that are in pieces and in boxes and stuff that'll work as soon as I get around to putting them back together. >_>

Just one laptop

by lilyluna - 7/27/07 11:34 PM In reply to: How many functional computers? by Geeky1

At home I have just one laptop. It's ASUS.
But I plan to buy one desktop (HP) after one or two years.

Hoping to build a new one by the end of the summer. Right now i'm well short of having money to spare, but with any luck i'll be collecting parts to build one come the fall.

Question about your medison celebrity

by wicksey - 7/31/07 11:03 PM In reply to: I have 6 by ChasCam580

You say you have a medison celebrity laptop. I was just wanting to ask you if you thought the laptop was a good buy. Like, is it decent and seems reliable?
