New LCD TV for PS3
by manu08 - 7/12/07 1:59 PMMy friend asked me to help him out. He's going to university in the fall & will be staying in a dorm. Keeping this in mind, he wants to buy a new LCD TV for his PS3. It should have an HDMI port & support 1080p(i?) to be future proof (currently not many games support more than 720p) & about 23" screen size. Any recommendations? If you're talking from personal experience please let me know how long you've been using the TV for. Also what online store would be good to purchase from? I know off newegg.com, tigerdirect.com & buy.com, any reliable ones I'm missing out on for good TVs?

What's a better resolution for games to be played at, 720p or 1080i?
Also is a TV with 8ms response time good enough for gaming or should I be looking for one with a response time <8ms so I don't experience any ghosting or the like?
