A wealth of office replacement suggestions - http://chkpt.zdnet.com/chkpt/1pcast.rdpod.071007/http://podcast-files.cnet.com/podcast/realdeal071007.mp3
Hi,
I really love the show, and this episode was awesome. I just wanted to let you guys know that there's a tutorial on how to improve the performance of Openoffice. Check it out:

Dear Rafe & Tom,
While OpenOffice will work in MacOS, it does so via it's UNIX shell (X11) which can be a bit clunky. For a ported version try NeoOffice (http://www.neooffice.org/neojava/en/index.php). Runs more smoothly than OpenOffice in MacOS but since it's an adaptation of OpenOffice, it's not the most recent version of OpenOffice.

Dear Rafe and Tom,
I just want to let you know that OpenOffice.org can also save your documents as PDF. All you have to do is export the document:
File->Export as PDF.
Thank You
