A question about Rockbox...

by Fdevriendt - 6/17/06 8:22 PM

I am considering installing Rockbox on my 5G iPod 30 GB. If I install and run Rockbox on my iPod and I don't like it, can I use the iPod Updater to reinstall the Apple iPod software? And if I use the iPod Updater will it erase all of the Rockbox software?

I'll wait until I get a new iPod before I install Rockbox.

Listen rockbox is an awesome firmware open source for your iPod get the best out of your iPod. And yes it voids your warrenty. All you got to do is delete it off your iPod to get your warrenty non-voided. Trust me if you go with rockbox you will love it.

It's very hard to brick your iPod with rockbox i havn't heard of one fellow thta did but just to let you know i'm not responisble for anything.

Good luck and enjoy
