Does anyone know how to replace the Palm TX Digitizer? I've gotten all the step done except connecting the ribbon cable.
Any suggestions?

There are instructions on their page.

Is there a good software solution to digitizer drift. I am running PalmOS Garnet. Will a new digitizer installation solve the drift?
For years I've used a small utility I wrote to call up the digitizer on reset.
Email me if you want a copy. Sorry I don't have it up at my webpage at http://www.geocities.com/palmpass/index.html

Any secrets to doing this? I am unable to slide the small ribbon cable back into the slot of the socket.
Thanks.
The design varies from some flip up to slide out retainer. I can't see which type was used.
Over in the Laptop Troubleshooting forum we have this sticky:

Read and see the pictures of this type connection at:

Supply a picture like the one near this text:
"he connector, on the motherboard,or on the drive or device, has a spring loaded locking mechanism, with a very small travel."
