What is wrong with CNET!!!

by dirty55409 - 7/2/07 9:31 AM

I've loved browsing Cnet articles for some time now, but this Iphone extravaganza has got to stop!!!! Everything on the front page is all about Iphone, it's truly making me ill. Just because it's all the rage doesn't mean Cnet should jump into the middle of it. They shouldn't be forcing it down our throats, they should be covering the happenings in a non-biased way, not bombarding us with 100+ topics on one electronic device. It's insane and in my opinion unprofessional to be covering a smartphone so obsessively.

It came out, people got them, they're really cool but lets face it, there's other smartphones out there that do more and cost less! I've lost faith in the people at Cnet.

Its the rage

I feel your pain. But it is not just CNET that is doing this. All over the tech sites, it is iPhone this and iPhone that. This is what we have to look forward to as a society.

An example of this: Hate to bring it up but it ties in nicely to my point. When Paris Hilton was sent to jail and released and sent again, all the news and cover stories were about her. Forget the war in iraq or brush fires across the US, it was all about her.
Same thing with the iphone. Just give them a few days to settle down and hopefully things will be back to normal.

I think you guys are haters. C'mon, let people be excited over a cool phone for awhile.

letting people be excited for a cool new thing is fine by all means... but Cnet giving into that frenzy and not presenting a certain level of professionalism and instead acting like giddy children on Christmas morning just adds fuel to the fire. Not to mention it's not even that amazing of a phone, it's more hype than smartphone due in part to Cnet going crazy about it (millions of commercials help too :P)

/signed.

I even have an iPhone but seriously it's not that great, and all this hype is getting annoying when I go to 3 different sub sections of reviews and all of them and **** about the iPhone.

Gimme a break, if I could take mine back I would, everyone has them now and besides that they do nothing new than any other cellphone except their look, seriously, no one go excited when Prada came out and it's basicly the same thing.
