Where's Flash hiding?

by Catmoves - 6/24/07 9:05 AM

Weird problem here. If I use the AOL browser I get a message that I need to update Macormedia to view pages. If I use IE7 or Opera they just open the pages for me. AOL techs have been no help. (Surprised?) Secunia has no problem finding my software up to date. Any suggestions?

Have You Tried?

Follow the procedures below to first UNinstall Flash, then reinstall it..

First, uninstall Flash by using the Flash Uninstaller at the link below..

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157

Once that's done, then visit the site below and reinstall Flash..

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&%3BLang=French&%3BP5_Language=French

If you have more than one browser, visit the second link with each browser.. For example, Firefox and Internet Explorer install Flash in different ways. Firefox downloads an installer file where you then install from.

Hope this helps.

Grif
