I was originally gonna get the e280R so I downloaded Rhapsody and burned all my cd's to it. I ended up not being able to get the e280R and just got the e280. Am I still able to download songs from Rhapsody onto my e280? Please give me lots of info, I'm a noob when it comes to MP3 and its software.
I'm pretty sure that you can't use Rhpasody with the e280. The e280R would have been a much better choice, because not only can you use Rhapsody, but you also get Rhapsody Channels.
As far as I can see, the main differences between the two is that the e280R is Rhapsody co-branded and that it is optimized to work with Rhapsody.
But according to Rhapsody's website, you can use the e280.

The link shows the e280R, but you can choose another player, including the e280.
If you use the non R players with Rhapsody, then you will receive the standard "plays for sure" experience as you might get with Napster, Urge, etc. If you have an R player, you get a different DRM which is more reliable and permits more features (channels, etc) to be downloaded to your player.
