Hey all,

Here's my problem. I have a WinTV HVR-1600 (NTSC +ATSC) TV card. I've had it for a little over a month, and it works great. It replaced an older 848 based card.

Anyway, I recently found out that my revision of the card now supports QAM. http://www.hauppage.com/pages/support/support_hvr1600.html
I downloaded the latest drivers and Wintv application. The video on QAM is very nice.

BUT, I get no sound on the QAM channels. The volume refuses to change from 0%. The sounds works as usual on analog cable. I've checked all the sound settings, everything seems right.

Has anyone else had any problems with this. I'm assuming there are others that have tried the beta software. It was released only days ago.
