Very slow Screen Loadup

by rammjet1 - 6/5/07 4:33 AM

The start-up works fine, and the boot-up works fine, but after that, loading my desktop is very slow. Any ideas?

Desktop loading slow

It has been my experience that some programs load in even after the wallpaper shows on the screen so it would be my guess that you have a program still loading in before the icons etc. come up on the screen, a hint to this is the hard drive light is still blinking. If this is a recent problem you may only have to tack back to the most recent programs you installed, if it has been a cronic problem then you may want to check and see what programs are loading during Start Up.

Hope this helps,
