Try to give Cnet links when top posting.

It has to do with that forum policy about site promotion not being allowed.

Can you explain further?

Are you saying I should only post Cnet links to the forum? Not non Cnet links?

I will be sure to check the policy of the sites before posting. Thanks for the heads up.

It's in the forum policies.

by R. Proffitt Moderator - 5/31/07 11:43 AM In reply to: Can you explain further? by aerovelo

Under site and forum promotion. Top posts with links to other than Cnet sites get attention from moderators. If a pattern is found that some member is top posting with links always to some site (bonus miles for sites that sell stuff) the members posts might vanish.

If you use a Cnet link then it's never questioned.

Hope you understand that this is partly why you see so little spam posts here. Almost none.

I cant sell Viagra or ***** enlargment devices through the Cnet forums? Hmm...that blows!

I will have to take my spam business elsewhere.

This is for all those folks that think they should wait till the next big thing comes out. As it turns out, your 65in 1080P plasma is now officially PUNY by comparison.

A Frame Rate Better Than Reality...

by aerovelo - 6/1/07 7:15 AM In reply to: MR AERO HOW INSANE by stewart norrie

I agree, Steweeee.

I was thinking about it. With a frame rate of 4000fps...I would think thats better than reality itself. If I had that kinda set up, why would I bother with reality? I could stay home and see things in greater detail and clarity than if I went out into the world.

So...sign me up for UHD (Ultra High Def)

Hey, aero. We like you here. Don't aggravate c/net

moderators to the point they bounce you from the site.

I must say, if Viagra & enlargement are your only spam products, you are indeed puny compared to the vast amount of spam my filter catches. Actually I use 2 filters & still some gets through. Makes me wish I were federally deputized & with super hacker knowledge so when I found their source computer, I could feed stuff to melt down their motherboard.
