I believe you are thinking of BKCHURCH, he asked so many dang questions (for almost 3 months) and changed his mind so often he talked himself out of the XBR970.

THANKS FOR THE WELCOME BACK...........

YES, INDEED I WAS THINKING BKC AND HIS CONFUSION. HE probably blew his shot at getting the XBR970 altogether. INDECISION causes overthinking; oh well. He really needed some ATIVAN.

Thanks again,
River.

I was quite indecisive there for awhile myself

and definitely confused at times. I went back and forth between LCD and CRT for a while, finally deciding that 34"/1080i was sufficient for my needs and the quality and reputation of CRTs was a wise investment since I couldn't at that time have enough faith in the newer LCD technology. But, wow, did it take me a long time to get to that point.

I agree and know from experience that overthinking and indecision go hand-in-hand. The night before I was going to buy the sony v2500 I read some more about problems with mura and these particular LCDS and talked myself right out of buying that LCD. Now I can't be happier with my final choice, but at the same time I wonder had I gotten the v2500 if everything would have been fine.

At any rate, I did not want anyone to think that BKchurch was the only one who experienced confusion as I was right there in the mix of indecision myself.

I've said it before and will say it again: thanks again to all who took the time in helping me out; It was and currently is very much appreciated. :)

James
