I have downloaded Active@ NTFS Reader for DOS and it works like a charm, however it will only copy from NTFS to a FAT drive or a network drive. I dont have either. I two other hard drives but they are both NTFS. Does anyone know of a similar software which will copy from ntfs to ntfs while runing on a dos boot disk.
Or perhaps I could boot with a linux boot disk and mount the two drives and copy the files I need that way. Will linux be able to read the data on the drives and copy the files without corupting them for windows at all?
If you know of any other hardeare sites that I can ask about this please let me know. thank you.
This Linux boot cd can boot and is NTFS write enabled.

It's a free download and you can find hints aplenty.
I take it that you don't want to pay for this since from memory Active@ NTFS has a writer version too.
