P.S. I'd drop Yahoo like a rock if Microsoft merged with Yahoo. They wouldn't be doing it to improve Yahoo. They'd do it to KILL IT and try to make people join MSN indirectly.

I'd also encouage all my family and friends to drop Yahoo! Yeah, 90% of them Apple/Linux users. Hey, Yahoo Execs! You listening? You better be!

Interesting for Australia...

Microsoft has an online presence with Australia's television network, Channel Nine, forming www.ninemsn.com.au. Channel Nine's rival network Channel 7 has an online presence with Yahoo, Yahoo!7, www.yahoo.com.au.

I'm not sure what this would mean between the rival networks! It will be interesting to see what happens!

This merger if true should help out Microsoft this would be good for them but who knows if this is true or not but they might bundle Yahoo in with their desktop now.
