I got two Sigma/Foveon dSLR bodies, the SD9 and the new SD14. 4 Sigma EX lenses, all zoom. The 50-500mm, 17-35mm, 70-100mm, and a 100-300. I used to shoot with Canon and Nikon, but after four years using the Sigma/Foveon system, you'd have to put a gun to my head to make me switch.
I have to strongly disagree with the comments by CharlieWorton regarding buying "lenses from the same manufacturer as the one who made the camera body", even though all my stuff is Sigma. Many pro shooters use non-OEM lenses, with adapters.
I had a 4 year old Kodak CX7220, now its not working.
The photo quality was good that time.
The support of Kodak in India is tooo bad, so I do recomned not buy Kodak Digital Camera if you are in India.
Go for Sony(3 year warranty), or Canon (2 year warranty), if you really care about the support.
Nikon's newest digital SLR.
10.2 MP, great autofocus, 3 frames per second, quick shutter.
Very happy with it.
I have an Olympus C8080 & the Evolt 330 dslr & love them both
This is my Digital Camera ; my only problem is with batteries which do not stand more than 24 hours ; otherwise , this is a wonderfull camera , having many of the tools to take pictures customized almost at will ; the optical quaity is perfect and the picture taken beautiful ; it's an old model now but sill get better pictures than other similar models of the same period , owned by friends .
Olympus Camedia D-340R, might be old but it is reliable
I have two cameras,A Sony P32 Cyber-shot and a Panasonic FZ20. The Sony is perfect for me on fly-fishing trips- it fits real easy into my fishing vest pockets-3.2mb and no tele-lens to worry about dust into.
The Panasonic is a cracker, Lumix lens-5.0megs and takes a great pic., but too large to put in a pocket. This beast is brilliant in low light situations when I do not wish to use the flash, also great for Macro. I`ve learnt that some spiders and bugs have faces that only their mothers could love. YUK!!
Great zoom and amazed at how camera does so well indoors without flash. Buying Canon A570SI for my wife.
...for two years and some now and STILL loving it!
I have a 28-80mm Nikkor lens and a 70-300 telephoto Nikkor and they serve my needs very well. I even bought a set of Digital filters, UV, PL and fluorescent, too.
I briefly thought about upgrading to the d80 or d200, but given my uses and that I can blow up the originals to 8 x10 without any noticeable loss of quality, I shall keep this for quite a few years more.
I have aPanasonic SV-AV50 movie and still camera, which Ihav had for 3 years and have had no complaints so far
I purchased the Sony Cyber-shot two years ago, which was on sale for a mear $456. at Staples, the sales associate said this was the best camera for "point and shoot" because of the Carl Zeiss lens plus an added bonus of the MPEG Movie VX capability. I had a Kodak 4 Mega Pixel, wish I had kept it!. With the Sony camera you CAN NOT point and shoot, if you do your pictures come out blurry, even if you have it set for motion pictures. You have to be completely still or set it on a tripod! So many pictures have been ruined that 98% of the time they are deleted instead of downloaded onto the computer or printed. Over half of the time the flash does not work properly so the pictures are to dark to tell what's on them, the night time setting is a joke, it doesn't work. If you set it to take movies it actually isn't to bad, they come out all right. The coloring is a bit orange/yellow inside of a house but outside it is clear. A little jerky motions at times. All in All I would not purchase another one, it was a waste for the money. I stopped shopping at Staples anyway; two times getting ripped off was enough! My next digital camera will be either a Kodak or Cannon.
Though I abstain from endless debates on which brand is better. I prefer Pentax due to the construction quality. Optio W10-water/dust proof features have saved it from a premature end, I do alot of stuff outdoors, 6MP more than enough to capture detail. One drawback is the inadequate manual control options. Pentax K10D is in the works...
What do I click if I don't have a digital camera?
since there were so many brands I couldn't list them all, including "I don't own no stinkin digital camera" sorry about that.
Cheers!

Love this camera. It does everything I want it to. I have 3 conversion lenses for it, macro, tele and wide angle. I have had it for over a year now and am quite content to stay with it for at least the next little while.
