I just found out that Digital Image Pro was discontinued AND I found on the MS site that it is not compatible with Vista. I just bought a new computer with Vista (haven't even opened the box) and I need to know if there is any way to get MS Digitial Image Pro to work or if I should send back my computer.
Found out today that this outstanding program has been terminated. Supposedly that Vista has all its features.
I, myself, have made a lot of money with this program in my photography business. I will continue to use it even so it is not supported any more.
Downgrade rights are only included in OEM Vista Ultimate and Business versions so in order to downgrade to XP without cost, you'll need to have one of those versions on the computer.. Still, if you have a legal version of XP SP2 on disc with the legal product key, it might be worth the effort to you.. It takes a little work finding all the XP drivers for the motherboard, video, audio, and all other hardware on the computer..Then wiping the drive...then installing the OS, SATA and all other drivers.. But, I've done it a couple of times so far and the results have been fine here. It's not a task for the "faint at heart" though...
It's up to you.
Hope this helps.
