Keep Hearing Static (not speaker problem)
by genius55 - 4/27/07 3:18 PMwhenever i turn up the sound on my computer too much, i start to hear static. It sort of overlaps with any sound i'm listening to on the computer. it always happens, even when i am just on the desktop with nothing running. i know that its not that the speakers are blown out or anything, because i hooked up my other speakers, and it does the same thing. could someone help? i'm using realtek high definition audio. i havent had this problem before. its almost as like i'm listening to a sound file thats just static, and gets louder as i turn up the speakers.
