Has anyone heard anything about the new Canon DC230 camcorder? I haven't seen any reviews yet, but it seems to be available now.
The biggest things I'm looking for in a camcorder is its ability to shoot in low light and the quality of its still shots.
I like the price range of the new Canon DC 210, 220, and 230 line and have high hopes, but I don't want to shell out the money until I see some reviews.
It depends on your needs, I bought a Canon DC210 first but I found out you have to Manually Tweak the settings to get Good videos. Auto just doesn't seem to get decent videos. So I switched to a Sony DVD108 and never looked back since. With the Sony I leave it on Auto and just turn it on and shoot right away.
My advice, try both first at the store before you decide.
