Hello, My name is Mark, I have a problem that I am Hopeing someone may be able to give me some advice on how to correct. here is the problem: When ever I go to save any type of Files (pictures, music, video, downloads, whatever) using the" send to" DVD/CD Drive on the File tab. It will not read any type of Media. It tells me to put a readable or useable Disc in drive. I have tried every Type and Brand I can find. CD-R's CD-RW"s, DVD-R's, Dvd+R's, DVD-, + Rw's. I have used TDK's Hp's Maxell's, Sony' and Memorex's and some off brands. Does anyone out there have a clue what may be going on? And can you Please help? Thanks alot.
Have a look at this;

and see if you are doing it right.
Personally I don't use the Windows burning process. I prefer dedicated software like Easy CD Creator, or similar.

But I found XP's recording to be too flighty and limited. For a freebie that does most of what I need to do I use CDBURNERXP from http://www.download.com/CDBurnerXP-Pro/3000-2646_4-10409086.html
