I'm a teen too

just turned 16 a few days ago. although I wouldn't let my age defines who I am or how much I should know about this world.

I too care deeply about DRM, because this is more a battle for us than say... someone in their 40s *coughTom*cough (i'm just kidding. :)). because this is something that will shape the future of content downloading for many years to come.

Yes

I am 19, and I'm frankly tired of hearing them argue about DRM. They have already put forth their arguments, and I've heard them 1000 times. We all know what needs to be done, but there's no reason to repeat it until we all stop listening to the podcast because that's all they talk about.

What is there to talk about, seriously DRM is bad, and that's all there is to say about it.

Also in my Teens

I'm currently 16, but i have been listening since I was 14. Its a great podcast for finding out all the gadget gossip and latest developments in the tech-world. I used Buzz Out Loud before discovering sites like Digg, and i belive that this is a better method, as it gives opinions and aspects of stories straight away.

Although, I dont have any friends that are seriously into the podcast.

by kozo819 - 4/12/07 7:55 PM In reply to: Already asked this, got about 50 responses ;-) by Alegoo92

13 and started listening when i was twelve. When i say drm to my friends you can see confusion in their eyes! They think the choclate phone from verizon is the best ever and i scoff when i ever see people drool over them. I dont really mind what TMV talk about becuase they could talk about anything and i would be amused and listen every day.

BOL.. you made some guy cry. I hope you can all sleep at night. :)

>DRM is here to stay

I disagree, I think it's ONLY here so MPAA, RIAA, etc are using it because they are unwilling to change their current business model. Piracy is always going to be there (just like theft is), but what they SHOULD be doing is to come up with a competitive business model to view piracy as a 'competition'.

offer better services so I don't have to waste 30 minutes looking for a old episode. because at the end of that, I wish I could just pay the bloody $1.99 in the first place if I can get it to play on my IRiver.

Another teenaged listener here

by jprkenny - 4/13/07 10:55 AM In reply to: teenaged listeners? by kozo819

I'm 15 (you can tell also by my username) and listen to BOL occasionally, and frankly I couldn't give a rats about DRM, of course I do think DRM isn't fair but what can I do? DRM is here to stay, for a while at least. Anyway BOL is the only podcast I bother to listen to.

i am 20, with the same thoughts and mind of when i was 13!

but i have more money, i can drive, drink beer (it's 18 here), can't drink beer before driving, and it's easier to talk to girls...

i have to study more, and i don't have much time to play things on my pc... and i have quit playing video games! i only like to play when gathered with some friends, at their houses...

ps3 still hasn't "winning eleven", so i prefer the nintendo wii!
(which still doesn't have a soccer game, and the wii shoesŪ)

Veronica and Molly are the trademark holders of the wii shoes
