Anyone out there know the camera and model coming out that can be connected to a HDTV and output the pics in HD resolution? I believe it was covered by CNET but cannot find. Thanks.
Canon HV20 which has HDMI output.
The new Sony DSC-H7 and H9 have HDTV output. They should be out within a couple of months.
I have a T100 that can output HD to a television.
Thanks for responding to my post. Are you happy with the camera? Are you outputting the photos to a HD set? Was the cable going from the camera to the TV included with the camera? If not, how much extra did it cost? Thanks.
HD Output Adapter Cable VMC-MHC1 for $39.00, not included with the camera.
I believe I read about the new Sony DSC-T100 that has HDTV output! I guess i remembered this because we have HD tv and I thought it would be a cool feature to have. The camera looks amazing by the way. It comes out in April...?
Sony Models:
H7, H9, T20, T100, W80, W90 and W200
You will need a special cable ($40) that has a camera connector on one end and five RCA connectors on the other end (3 for component video and two for audio).
Does anyone know of any other camera maker using this feature?
