Same music files in three places

by Avi8r - 4/7/07 1:36 AM

OK, here is my dilemma, I have a laptop that I run Itunes and my Ipod on. A desktop that I use to update my phatnoise car audio system and a backup drive. What is the easiest way to synchronize all three places so I have the same songs in all three places, and when I add new music to one to update the other two? I thought about using a file synchronization program, but not sure if that will work.

Thanks

The backup is on a server and all the computers are on the same network

SYNCBACK found with any search works for me. HOWEVER iTunes may not automatically clone your playlists and such. I'd have to research that to see if there is a way but for now I'm happy with finding my sync to work well.

Deletes Duplicate Files, and then some!

Been using this program for about 8 years, and wouldn't run a computer without it. It's called Advanced Uninstaller. Version 7 is for XP, and Version 8 for Vista. This handy tool finds duplicate files, (although you manually delete them by clicking delete on each one "not difficult"). MOREOVER it cleans your registry (you can back the registry up before doing this) it uninstalls programs that refuse to be uninstalled, it finds all the browser toolbars and allows you disable or delete them. It also does the same thing as msconfig (but much easier) stopping certain programs from automatically starting on Boot up. It cleans tracks, temp files and on and on. It'll reinstall your original OS settings, and MORE. I've tried other registry cleaners only to find my computer won't BOOT BACK UP and all manner of insanity. Not with this program. It's on every computer I have or have ever had, it's that good. AND No, I don't work for the company. You do a trial, I betcha you buy it. CNET has it, check it ratings they don't lie.

SO....No more duplicate files, to make a short answer too long!
