How do I open a .art photo file when no longer on AOL?

Also, and while it is a GREAT viewer, and can open about 400 image formats (whereas my favorite viewer IrfanView, can only open about 60) and one of those 400 formats in XnView is .ART, I do not think that is the same AOL .ART format. At least, reading the XnView website does that give me that impression.
I will go to someone's AOL machine later today and try it. I hope to get back with more details.
