The canon has 7.2 megapixels for $349. The sony has 8.1 mp for $399. Which is better for picture quality and features as a point and shoot?
Neither camera has been reviewed as yet.
The SD750 appears to be an update to the SD600
The T100 appears to be an update to the T50.
Both of those cameras produced very good photos.
.....................
The Sony has a bit more pixels and a 5X optical zoom.
One noteworthy difference is that the T100 has image stabilization.
The SD750 does not.
Here is a comparison of specifications:

The left chart show the Canon SD750 has an optical viewfinder....that is an error.
Neither camera has a viewfinder.

I own the T100 and love it. There is also an optional docking station for this camera. The pictures are amazing!
I am also looking forward for purchasing T100 from sony, but this is going to be my first digcam. can you please advice me a bit on this:
What all accessories would be required initially. How is the battery life ot T100, one battery that comes along with camera is good enough or another spare battery is required. I hv checked on some sites and its (T100) price is around 350, is it a good price.
Thanks,
VJ
There are some reviews out for the Canon SD750. Mostly the reviewers say that it's an OK camera. Nothing really wrong with it but nothing to make it stand out either.
