dazed and confused

by kat_texasangel - 3/21/07 8:30 AM

I have an old verizon phone and I was told I could get the pictures off my phone into my email but I had to buy a usb cable or go to the web site. Seeming like I'm the only broke ass on this site, I tried to go to the web site but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to do it. I really can't afford anything right now BUT I have pictures that can't be replaced on the phone and need them on the computer before something happens to them!!! I have bad luck, last place my phone ended was in the toilet SO PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm begging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kat_angel,

All the website can have in store for you is an explanation or instruction or maybe the software you need on your PC to connect to the phone (not sure you need it, but it's likely). There's no way the website can contact your phone and do the downloading.

So you need a local communication. That can be a USB-cable or Infrared or Bluetooth depending on the phone. And probably - as I said already - you need software on the PC.

As long as you don't tell the exact make and model of the phone (like "a Samsung SGH A920") there's no chance anybody can help you with more than general information than this.

Hope this helps.

i think this would work

so without purchasing anything you can just send these pictures to someone else who has a phone with email capabilities, that person can then email the pictures to your computer.

(NT) That's a smart idea.

Try Webshots

You can try Webshots.com, which offers free uploading (of course you'll have to pay whatever carrier fees there are). It's pretty painless.
