Camcorders: hello

im new here and need a little help with a camcorder i just got, its a older VHS camcorder but im hoping someone here can help me, the camcorder is a RCA PRO Edit model CC540 and it seems to work great execpt for the fact that when you look into the viewfinder the picture is flickering and when you record and play back the video on any vcr the picture is also flickering, if anyone has any ideas what this might be or how to fix it please let me know.

Dirty Heads?

It could be a tracking problem with your camcorder. You can try clean the heads and try a brand new VHS tape after cleaning it. Hope that helps and good luck

i already thought about that and i dont think it could be that, i wouldnt have any tape in there and it would still flicker
