I am looking to schedule a meeting in Outlook 2003 that is on the second Thursday of every month(that is easy enough). The hard part is that in July and August it is on the Second Wednesday. Is there an easy way to do this?
If this was my own calendar, I would jsut delete the ones that did not conform, or move them to the correct day. This isn't as friendly when you are sending it to other attendees.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
So you can't use that method. So far you're stuck with the usual methods. Since it's just those 2 days, do they have to be "right"?

I guess they use to run Lotus on this site and there was a function that allowed them to set-up this type of "recurrance"
it is the monthly meeting for our CEO and his board...so they need to be right...they will just schedule them as seperate meetings...the admin was hoping she could just send out one meeting request
A decent programmer could lighten the load on this one. Microsoft seems to do this area up to a point but when you compare it to other products you see what might be nice.

yea, I think if we did this more than once or twice a year it would be worth looking into programming something. However, since they only seem to have this issue at the beginning of the year for 1 or 2 meetings I don't think they would allocate the resources.
I believe what they will do is just send out multiple meeting invites.
The simplest way that I do it is I set up a schedule from Jan to June and label it as 2nd Thur Meetings, then do the same for Sep to Dec. Then again for July and Aug and label it 2nd Wed Meetings. Three inputs for the whole year beats any other way.
I hope this helps.
