is down?
Just reloaded a friend's PC (Dell) from the recovery CD, installed SP-2, zero glitches. Upon going to the MS update site I get an error message. Same thing on all three of my own networked computers.

I'm having trouble too. I get the same thing and a Page Cannot be Displayed on your link. Recon MS has lost a server?
for me.
I just tried again and NO problems......

It just would not work on any of my networked PCs. So I walked away for a while. About two hours ago I tried again and zip. . . 72 updates needed. Downloaded and installed. All PCs are able to access it. I'll bet one of their servers was down or limping.

Thanks for posting back and glad to see you got ALL your updates ![]()
Hi,
I recently went through the same thing. I too, needed 70+ updates. I found that once I turned off my Internet Accelerator (provided by my ISP), that they came streaming in! That's all there was to it. Seems like one of M$'s "solutions" may have mentioned this, too.
I know my Accelerator doesn't always turn on right away when I dial up, so that might be one explanation as to why you were able to get your downloads. Just a thought. Really glad you got them!
