i purchased new desktop from compaq 2070 with windows vista, i have problem in installing my web cam and usb devices to the computer how can i fix it? Are there any ways to downgrade my new system to windows XP SP 2
Unless HP/Compaq is willing to let you order a set of XP recovery CDs for your new laptop, which is likely doubtful since such was not designed specifically for that model, you'd have to purchase a copy of Windows XP and install it, erasing everything currently on the drive in the process.
If you want to address the individual compatibility issues, however, you'll need to cite the make and model numbers of each device that's not functioning properly.

I bought Dell inspiro 640 M. and Web-cam from A4Tech was installed.
Though installation process goes in smoothly, when A-cam icon was clicked, though camera give red light that it had been on, there is no image to be viewed except black. Even after downloaded installation from A4Tech which says it supports the Window vista not by installation disk,
still the same. Skype or VZA chat can't detect the camera.
Any solution?
