Is it some Earthlink guy that says "This podcast brought to you by Earthlink"? Or is it Tom??
And I assume that its a pre-recorded message...sorry I'm confused? Tom clear this up for me.

Honestly I like the extra lead time that message provides... The Aux jack on my Pacifica only works when it detects voltage on the input, otherwise the radio defaults to the CD changer (it's stupid, I know). The Earthlink bumper in the beginning gets a signal on the line long enough that the aux jack flips on just as the theme music starts.
Thats odd, I have seen this on video devices because if the device is turned on most likely its sending out a signal, whether it be a blue screen or pure black or some logo. But with audio this isn't the case. That wasn't very good engineering.
In today's podcast: Tom inadvertantly confirmed that he does in fact say the phrase.. funny..
