However, I think it is important to acknowledge that it is exaggerated. There are a lot of alerts when you first start using the OS while you get all your settings in place and install loads of apps, but once you've settled in, there really aren't very many. I've been using it for a few months now and they're nowhere near as pervasive as people make them out to be. That said, it is a little bit janky. And it was much worse back in betas when it would literally pop up when you deleted an icon off your desktop... I mean COME ONE. They did fix that though.
