Motorola Wireless Headphones HT 820 KRZR K1m

by prana69 - 11/17/06 6:28 PM

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to get these headphones to play music from my KRZR? It acts as my wireless headset does with calls but the music still plays through the speaker on the phone. I am not sure what is wrong.

thanks

Motorola Ht 820

I have the new Ht 820. You have to pair your K1 to the headset. The other question is if there are music on the KRZR. If this is OK, there are something wrong. Do you have non Bluetooth headphones? Try to play your music with. If that work, the problem is the HT 820.

It is paired to my phone and will work for phone calls. It won't play music though. The speaker on the phone plays the music. Does yours work with music that's on your memory card? I don't have any music on my phone, it's on the card.

Refresh the icon for the HT820 in your Bluetooth settings; look for a box "wireless stereo" then check it....if everything is correct you should have...
"hands free".."Headset" and "wireless stereo" boxes and all checked.

you may have to pair them one more time..

I guess Verizon doesn't offer the "wireless stereo profile". What a ******* joke. Any way to workaround this?

thanks

Not the carrier

The phone appears to support A2D2....

Check the manual for set up and pairing the HT820
I paired mine to the HTC Tytn phone, works great. It may take two times to pair the headphones and phoe together. Then make sure you have a check mark (or whatever your phone uses to verify) that the headphones will be used for: "headset"/ "wireless stereo"/ "hands free"

Nope. Verizon's only two stereo bluetooth phones are both LG's (Chocolate & 8600). All others are mono bluetooth only.

no music through headsets with k1m on Sprint!

This is the stupidest phone ever. It stores mp3s, you can even load up removable 2gb cards all you want. And you can only play them through the speakerphone. Serious. You can't hear music through single ear or stereo bluetooth, and you can't hear ANYTHING, voice or music, through the Motorola SYN1301 mini-usb stereo headset. The k1 is a great phone, Motorola should be ashamed of themselves for allowing a k1m to be created. The marketers must love this crap. Articles all over say this camera has great features, but secret letter M means you got scammed with a downgraded camera, downgraded bluetooth, and no means to listen to music except through a speaker that sounds like an old am radio. I called 4 different times to sprint customer service, they offered no info whatsoever other than "uh, it should work", "uh I don't have a listing", "uh, call Motorola". Buyer beware! Don't get a k1-M!
