Same Problem

by Konfuzed - 2/1/07 4:07 AM In reply to: network problem by ZennyX

I'm having the same problem. I've tried all different ways to connect. Wireless or via dsl modem. The network infomation will tell me I'm connected to the internet but I can't get anything at all to open with either IE or Firefox.

Not liking Vista already...

Vista and Network issues

by yankeedoug - 2/1/07 7:56 PM In reply to: Same Problem by Konfuzed

Funny to see the same issues. Have a Linksys router and cable modem. Noticed I could not log on through the normal IE connection as with XP Pro but Windows Vista was downloading updates somehow. When I checked online through another PC I find that Linksys has many modems and adapters that either have a downlaod avail. or coming soon to the site. My broadband cable modem is of course one of those with no download yet.

More Vista networking problems

by gangadude - 2/8/07 1:24 AM In reply to: working by jack_201

I'm having networking problems with Vista. Network seems to be intermittent to not working at all although from the cmd window I can run nslookup and resolve domain names no problems. Same machine booting into a Windows XP partition works flawlessly. I have an ASUS P5B-Deluxe board with 2 ethernet connections on it (I disabled one, didn't help) and I connect to DSL via a D-Link DI-624 modem. Anyone?
Thanks much.
Vista to date: no drivers for my laser printer (Canon LBP1120), no internet. I'm thrilled.
