Laptop purchased in UK running XP Pro, now living in NYC...
by neilycwy - 1/30/07 2:03 AMcan I use just the Vista UPGRADE for my laptop, or must I buy the FULL version?

The upgrader's edition should be fine.

Just keep in mind that upon using the upgrader's edition of Vista your copy of XP will be invalidated.

It should cost cheaper than buy full version. Just make sure you run compatibility check before upgrade and your pc will handle it. I getting Vista upgrade from Toshiba, and I just hope they will have all necessary drivers with it.
