My Philips HDD1630 is screwed up. The worst part is that the firmware updating software tells me that I have an HDD14XX. Um, wrong! Anyway I think I'm gonna have to ditch it soon, just one too many issues. I think it got messed up because I put mp3 files on there that weren't kosher. They wouldn't transfer via WMP10 but they would play in WMP fine. So I figured they were fine and transferred them over. Hell I ripped these files from my own CD so how screwed up could they be?
Anyway I'm seriously looking at the 4GB iRiver Clix. Opinions? My only concern is the "touch" controls. The touch controls on my HDD1630 are flaky (they light up but the software doesn't register the click, happens too often for me). Any Clix owners have a comment on that?
